## KOYOMI ![OWARI](https://i.imgur.com/ALlXfhL.png) #### Christmas comes early this year. Took me a while again, but it's done. Thanks to [DSub8](https://nyaa.si/view/1030186), who already OCR'd and did some styling, to CG for some of the styled OPs of the previous shows and ReinForce for the video/audio. This has pretty much the same fansub quality as my [Owari S2](https://nyaa.si/view/1178566) release, so it's pretty good (if not the best till date) if I'd say myself. --- ### Changelog: #### General - Added honorifics - Dialogue restyled to CG - Manual retimed - Unwanted newlines removed - Signs restyled (+ some motion tracked / + some removed) - Double checked #### OP - Combination of DSub8 and CG mostly - Romaji/translation mostly DSub8; some CG lines kept - Styling either CG, DSub8, combination or restyled to own preferences. #### ED - Romaji/translation of DSub8 (+ some minor translation changes by me) - Similar kind of styling to Sajamba, but added karaoke #### VIDEO/AUDIO - [ReinForce](https://nyaa.si/view/1108534) (+ commentary) #### PLAYER - Tested with VLC and MPC-HC (+ AssFilterMod) If there are any questions, flaws or other stuff, just leave a comment below.

I'll check this out when I rewatch the show, but if you don't mind me asking, what did you find unsatisfactory in Sajamba's release? I've watched Koyomi twice with their release and found it very good so I'm surprised to see you use official subs as a base instead for this release.

@doomedfreak Well for me its a bit of a combination of 1) lack of honorifics 2) translation 3) OPs without romaji (and also other stuff like sign styling etc.). Sajamba's release is already pretty "old" and DSub8, released 2 years after Sajamba, did a fine (if not better) job using official subs imo (even tho it didn't have honorifics in it yet). FYI I'm a bit of a perfectionist who's just trying to finish what CoalGirls once started.

The official subs are almost certainly better than Sajamba. Sajamba, while not terrible, was just the LN fantranslation transferred to the anime, and didn't have anyone competent actually doing original translations. As for this release, it'll replace Kawaiika-Raws for me (they also sourced their subs from DSub8), but it's still pretty mediocre translation-wise. Best we have while waiting for Commie, sadly.

Thanks for this. Would of been nice if you included the official PGS as a second track. For those that want it off RH release click the All Attachments. https://animetosho.org/view/rh-koyomimonogatari-bdrip-hi10-1080p.n996817 In video delay subs by 1.0 second slower (potplayer it's either < or ,), if muxing with mkvmerge I did "1000" ms (positive) to sync the PGS subs. Only did it for episode 1. May or may not be the same for the rest. >waiting on commie subs There are people who literally think this way still? /vomit. Reconsider or seek help please.

Thanks for this. I like most of the additions over the sajamba version. The only thing missing to me was chapters but I just ripped the ones from sajamba and put them in, the timecodes line up the same.
