I know, I know: the world does *not* need another version of the 1994 OVA *Plastic Little*. [kuraze](https://nyaa.si/view/1508930) spent years wrestling decent video from the DVD releases, and his version is unlikely to be surpassed unless or until a remastered source becomes available. But Urushihara Satoshi was involved with only a handful of shows, and a chance to revisit his stunning character designs cannot be overlooked.
Back in the early days of the Domesday Duplicator, one of Orphan's encoders bought, ripped, and encoded a Japanese laserdisc of *Plastic Little* to see if might be better than the horribly mastered DVDs. The raw lay fallow until one of the translators found it. He thought a new version, with a checked script, might be useful. So here it is. Is it it a visual improvement? Probably not; but with Urushihara's talents on unfettered display, who's paying attention?
*Plastic Little* is a "little guys vs big bads" sci-fi tale centered around the "pet shot hunters" in the *Cha Cha Maru*, led by captain Tita Tita Miu Koshigaya.

Out shopping one day, she rescues a beautiful blonde girl named Elysse Alto Mordisch, who is being pursued by military thugs.

Tita, Elysse, and the crew must take on the military single-handedly to thwart a Dastardly Plotâ„¢. This involves plenty of chases, explosions, and opportunities for Tita and Elysse to get naked (sorry, no screencaps here; this ain't sukebei) and get to know each other better.

See [this blog entry](https://collectr.blogspot.com/2024/12/plastic-little.html) for more details.
So... do I *really* have to give you a reason to watch *Plastic Little* again? This release, and all Orphan releases, are available for direct download from IRC bot Orphan|Arutha in channels #nibl or #news on irc.rizon.net.
