Did not realise that the Blu edition that was sold in cinemas was different to the general release version. Reminds me of what happened with Zoku Owarimonogatari, where the Blu release was 6 eps.

The ones sold at the movie release are the movie version. The episode version comes out about 1-2 months later.

This is the movie split up into actual episodes. Japan released the 4 episode blu-ray with openings and endings on each and gave each one a title. If you watch the movie you’ll see a slight pause in certain parts - those are the episode splits.
