Enjoy the episode! Once again, expect next week's release to be around the same time. Consider it a blessing if it's any earlier. We decided to omit typesetting a lengthy texting scene because it has accompanying dialogue. We simply don't have the resources to do scenes like this currently, but you can trust that the dialogue covers all of it. Also, we really appreciate the kind and constructive feedback that you guys have sent us - it really helps make our releases better! We have v2s in the pipeline once we release all the episodes. There are editing improvements to make, typesetting to tidy, and misinterpreted technical jargon to fix. Encodes will be made consistent, and the OP/ED will also be updated when we get official lyrics. Finally, our timer, encoder, and physics major Jes has decided to lend a hand with editing Godzilla starting this episode. Moyai is full of busy students like her and Sino who's flying back to NYC to graduate, and I'm grateful that they're both around to make subs for us. --- **Staff** TL: Sino TL Check: Sino Editing: basil, Jes Typesetting: Sodra, dez, kaxi Timing: Jes Encoding: Jes QC: basil, Combo

Thank you so much! We all really appreciate the efforts you guys are putting in.
Big, huge, enormous thanks to the entire team for this fantastic work. If you receive any negative criticism or whining/bitching from assholes, just tell them to fuck off. I'm just glad someone is working on this excellent show, I'd be happy with speed-subs, to be honest. Don't destroy your social lives over this.
Excellent - Many Thanks. Been really looking forward to this. Thank you for the ace job n bringing it to us again. (was about to sign off for the night... so glad this popped up...Kudos) :). Edit - Wow after watching, this series just keeps getting better! - (good size too :) Thanks again!
Welp lets see how you guys did during the "Tech Demo" part... Because I know I couldn't make heads or tails of some of those Japanese words.. Thank you.
Thank you so much!!!❤
Very well done. I was lost at the "Time & Photons" shit when I watched the RAW. _Still love the Fisherman that says, "We are gunna need a bigger boat..."_
thank you for your hard work fansubbing this! You guys are doing a fantastic job, keep up the good work!

thank you!!!
Thank you so much for the subs. And congratulations to Sino for graduating!
Some weird mistakes in calling gorilla angelfish, and trumpet a harp
@tzukishiro I think that was part of the joke..
Dsregard my name for this comment. Thank you for subbing this series for us. We appreciate the care and time you put into it. Congratulations on graduation, Sino. You've got a beautiful future ahead of you. ..and now back to my usual cynic persona
Great, as always! Thank you so much!
@tzukishiro They translated Pero 2's shiritori comment by forming a word chain in English: banana -> angelfish -> harp. I presume this was done intentionally.
Thank you very much for doing this anime, I'm very grateful to your work and the time you spent :)
Thanks for doing this! I have been craving more of this show since last episode ^^
great work as always ,but why did you translate ringo as banana ,and gorilla as angelfish xD ? im not that well versed in japanese ,but even a begginer would know this i guess it was intentional
Typesetting that covers up on-screen text is kinda annoying anyway.

@GGOD Literally read Guncannon's comment.
Radon was translated as Rodan...
Ringo/Lingo was translated as banana instead of apple Gorilla was translated as angelfish... Lappa (Trumpet) was translated as Harp.... Sma-ho was translated as electronics instead of smartphone. pretty sure hokuro wasn't stillness but something else like eyemask prob loafa (loafers) -> slippers. Well..you're not wrong.....just call them loafers like she calls them. people need to learn more english words when its accurate to the script Couldn't we be at this forever should be "Could it be we're going at this wrong/Are we using the wrong strategy/Are we going at this the wrong way?" i srsly need to know the nationalities of fansubbers....get someone who knows chinese at least cuz the similarities between the languages are impeccable. The accuracy in the subs is great only in certain places but not with simpler words or phrases o.O Girl: fantastic! subs: astonishing! i swear people are doing this on purpose.... like in instances like this Character: saito! subs: onii-chan!/Brother! Character: onii-chan! subs: saito! -_________-
Ty for your hard work.
@darkchaos125 Mei was playing shiritori with herself, which is a game where you have to say a word that begins with the same kana (or when you're adapting to other languages, same letter, like the game Word Chain, which is what they call it in the sub when Pero 2 says "shiritori") as the one at the end of the word that came before. It they had translated the words correctly, it wouldn't work as a shiritori, so the translators went for somewhat similar words (changing a fruit to another fruit, an animal to an animal, etc) that could work. So, "Apple" to "Gorilla" to "Trumpet" doesn't make sense as a shiritori, but "Banana" to "Angelfish" to "Harp" does.
I understand why they translated it the way they did, but I rather know what the characters actually say when reading subtitles, I think most people will be smart enough to understand that the words translated into English won't follow the rules of a Japanese word play game. Nice job with the subs anyway!
@Lekgolo I get that people are interested in what the characters are saying, but if the concept of a word chain game can be localised into English then we'd prefer doing so. Using words in the same genre is a good middle ground. For example, apples and bananas are both fruits, so swapping these two around would (hopefully!) not detract from Mei's character or the story. Meanwhile, "pandora" is more a word that Mei would characteristically use so we left it as is.
Thanks for your hard work!
I'll post it here again, but who cares about the westernisation of a word, when you have the complete explanation that Radon is derived from ‘Radio’ and ‘Onpa’ (音波) -> radiophonic sound wave, in episode 2. There is just no sense and no one actually cares about the ''official translation'' on a fansub translation, cuz if we are here, it's because we don't have the slightest interest in that official translation.
i love you guys so much
Great work! Keep it up and thank you, I appreciate your touches with the subs!
There was no reason to change the dialogue in the subs for english words being said. That's not localization. it's just completely wrong with what the characters are saying. It seems I'm not the only one who thinks so. Very disappointing considering the quality has been great thus far.
