Welcome to the N.H.K. / NHK ni Youkoso!
with Dual Audio (Jpn/Eng)
and Eng Subs
in DVD 1024x576 AVC
Remux of [Dekinai] with added English audio tracks (stereo downmixed) from [Exiled-Destiny].
Side Note: I was looking to replace my copy of NHK with a better version and came across [Dekinai] after comparing multiple different versions on this site. [Dekinai] had nice visual quality and awesome subtitles based on [Oyasumi/Nanone]. So I brought over English audio tracks from [Exiled-Destiny] and created additional [Signs & Songs] subtitle tracks. I also made some style changes to the main dialog (font, positioning, white color instead of pink).
NHK is one of my favourite anime of all time. It’s heartbreaking, hilarious as well as sad, cute and tragic, completely over the top at some times and very grounded at others. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions and I recommend this show to everybody that hasn’t seen it yet. Use this as a reminder to put it on your watchlist or you are going to miss out!
Synopsis
Twenty-two-year-old college dropout Tatsuhiro Satou has been a hikikomori for almost four years now. In his isolation, he has come to believe in many obscure conspiracy theories, but there is one in particular which he holds unshakable faith in: the theory that the evil conspirator behind his shut-in NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) status is the Nihon Hikikomori Kyokai (NHK) — an evil and secret organization dedicated to fostering the spread of hikikomori culture.
NHK ni Youkoso! is a psychological dramedy that follows Tatsuhiro as he strives to escape from the NHK’s wicked machinations and the disease of self-wrought isolation, while struggling to even just leave his apartment and find a job. His unexpected encounter with the mysterious Misaki Nakahara might signal a reversal of fortune for Tatsuhiro, but with this meeting comes the inevitable cost of having to face his greatest fear — society.
Language Options
I included two simple scripts that you can apply to these files to do the following (Windows only):
To apply these put all the video files into the Language Options folder and run the .bat file. <1> Changes existing files, <2> creates new ones in the output folder.

Can you do In/Spectre next? There’s a big lack of a dual audio BD release that’s 1080p.
RoxReaper
Unless you reencoded the video I don’t see why you would have to mark this red.
neoborn (uploader)
Did some stuff to the audio (downmix 6 to 2 channels and transcode AC-3 to AAC). Don’t know if this qualifies. Red/white is a mystery to me sometimes :D
Father_Snrub
@neoborn , As you do wonders to make a complete release each time , I was wondering how far you might go to achieve your ends . I was just looking for your type of release for Tsugumomo and there isn’t any on nyaa.si . Is Tsugumomo on your list for consideration for your magic ??
neoborn (uploader)
@Father_Snrub
I already have Tsugumomo in my library [10GB total, S1 Dual S2 Single] but don’t ask me which ones I got :D
If you are curious to see with what shows I’m currently wasting my time tinkering instead of actually watching something, head over to Discord. I made it specifically to document everything I’m doing with anime (except from actually watching) and you can see what parts of what show (video, audio or sub) are still missing until work can begin.

Thank you for this excellent quality upload! This dub is good.
Also the story is a lot better & interesting than it may sound :)
Deago
You successfully preserved the visual details.
As for font, I am aware that video players allow you to change the font colour and size, white font is indeed better option than ugly pink font, but I personally did not like the increased vertical margins.
This is the best release for people who want an English dub.

@Deago
Video is exactly the same so no quality changes there. Regarding subtitles position I tend to have them a little bit more towards the middle than stuck to the very bottom. I have a big screen and when I have to read them all the way at the bottom and then rush back up to get a glimpse of what is even going on, I am getting a headache :S I suppose that is not a problem with smaller screens like phones, tablets or smaller desktop monitors. Deago
@neoborn Nevermind, I initially thought you used HEVC, because I confused the release’s name with the encoding, also the screenshots I provided were misleading, because the Dekinai’s frame I used there was inaccurate, so I doubled checked them again.
I was wrong, sorry.
I also noticed you provided language options there, this is sure convenient for people who want to save capacity and don’t watch dub; but please guys don’t delete the original files immediately in order to seed.

Thanks for this!

thank you for this

I still feel hyped up after finishing this anime. Thanks for the upload!
