Thank you for you work!
maybe you shouldn't make so many mistakes you need to v2 every ep
@govna They V2 every episode because V1 is an early 720p release using japanese TV sources for those who don't want to wait. V2 is 1080p using Netflix source released later. Mistakes aren't the primary reason why they're doing V2 for every episode

Sorry but I can't watch these subs anymore... "At loggerheads"? Why can't you just say "they're always butting heads" or "they're always going at it", or simply "those two are always fighting" instead of using some very obscure expression that only a few people would understand without context? Subtitles that don't make the scene clearly understandable to viewers are just... frustrating. Please just make it clear as to what the scene and dialogue are trying to convey in simple, everyday terms.
@Ryo What are you going to watch then? Netflix? ayy
@Ryo Because reasons
Sounds like you need to read more books, Ryo. [BTW, "at loggerheads" is a far more common phrase than those other options.](https://books.google.com/ngrams/graph?content=at+loggerheads%2Cbutting+heads%2Cgoing+at+it%2Calways+fighting&year_start=1900&year_end=2000&corpus=15&smoothing=3&share=&direct_url=t1%3B%2Cat%20loggerheads%3B%2Cc0%3B.t1%3B%2Cbutting%20heads%3B%2Cc0%3B.t1%3B%2Cgoing%20at%20it%3B%2Cc0%3B.t1%3B%2Calways%20fighting%3B%2Cc0)
Why would you read books if you read anime.
so you can actually understand the big words in the anime obviously

*in the subtitles in the anime..
>using idioms that came around in the 1600s
Don't worry. Loggerheads was used in The Post. Surely Oscar-nominated trumps google.
Interesting conversation. Not that I can butt in with something constructive. Since I learned English only by my self (computer, books, subtitles) I can not tell what is really used in current 'colloquial English' (this is also a google translate, since the world 'colloquial' is new for me). But I know, that many teachers teach only the 'version of English language', that they learned many years ago. (And it is, in the best case, something like Oxford/Writing English, an not the real language used by the current generation.) I try to read as many books (in English language) as I can. Unfortunately, the word 'loggerheads' was not used in any of the books (as far as I remember). Thanks to this discussion I will probably remember it now.
>Why would you read google if you read books.
>that only a few people would understand without context? Literally anyone who speaks English would understand that expression perfectly fine. What the fuck are you on about?
> 2 words are better than 4 Asenshi is best gril
kseniasolo : I speak English, but it's not my born language. I'm taking english subs cuz french subs are shit. I have never, but really never, saw that word before.
The more you know... Thanks for this release :)
