This was considered the worst series of the season by many. I don't know why. There were definitely worse series. Anyway this is your basic guy-gets-transported-into-another-world-and-is-incredibly-overpowered-and-gets-a-harem anime. But unlike the rest this one takes a different path. There's no epic quest. There's no demon out to destroy the world. It's just one OP guy going on side-quest with his harem. There's no real conflict or danger it's basically a SOL using side-quests you ignored during the main game an are now over-leveled for. It's calming. Also all the girls in the harem like each other and have no problem sharing. All in all it's an average, harmless show that got way too much hate for some reson.

- Got way too much hate for some reason I totally agree, it wasn't anything great but it was a nice time killer and it's great to see a harem anime end the way it did. More should follow it's example in that regards.

It's actually one of my favorites in 2017. At first I thought I was going to hate it but before I know it I strangely kept coming back for new episodes.

It was SO BAD it's good. Really have a much fun when watching it a couple season ago.

How was this even disliked is beyond me. It was a good show to watch it got me to read the Light Novel and I liked all the characters doubt this'll get a S2. One of my favorites of the season.

Because its yet another generic copy paste stuck in another world (medieval era), harem, op male mc who makes zero advancement with all the woman throwing themselves at him, ln adaptation. Coupled with the bad story and bad vocals and you got yourself a shit anime that the masses will consume. Death March is yet another one airing this season. I guess one could argue Overlord is also but at least the story in that is decent.

I think the hate was actually because too many of us could identify with using an exploit / OP spell/ability / etc at some point when gaming, but don't want to admit it. Slip OP PLS NRF

I really enjoyed this one. If you don't try and take everything so seriously, you'll have a lot more fun in life. I've even been reading the light novels for this. I definitely enjoyed it more than serious isekai like Overlord or ReZero. Different strokes for different folks and all that jazz.

Actually it's really NOT good. It was SO BAD, badly animated, badly written, bad pacing, not weird if people don't like. But because it's so bad, it's fun to watch just for the laugh. Just don't expect anything serious from this show.
