sorry people have been stuck.. I went to bed a few hours ago and didn't realize that my torrent wasn't "forced" ... if I forget to do that, it shuts off after I think 150% shared ratio... which is stupid for the main seeder.

Fenson, I might be willing to translate something short, typically I deal with "pet" projects, which is to say, I'm lazy and don't go looking for things to translate very often. But I'm at least willing to listen to a request. if it's short enough or personally interesting to me, I'd probably have no trouble doing it... I'm trying to work on the Yakuindomo movie at the moment, but there's no harm in telling me about your request.

Yaffiiiiiiii!!! Where were you yesterday or the day before?? :( I feel stupid now... I listened to that stupid line more than a dozen times, and all I could ever hear was "hockey bra" >_< ... I thought something wasn't right, but I figured, well, maybe it's some silly Japanese joke I don't get.... She did just put a microphone up to her friend's crotch, so who knows WHAT she's thinking.... -_- .... but now it's obviously "Hagimura".... and I'm kicking myself for not realizing that .... Well, I don't think people actually appreciate a v3 with one text change, so I will just torrent the .ass file as another user suggested. easy enough to fix the mistake there and submit the file. Only helpful for people who know how to demux the old one and mux the new one in, or for drag/dropping into the video as it plays..... but it's better than not fixing the error.... Hmm... wonder if aegisub can "see" muxed sub files and be used to edit them without the hassle of removing the old and replacing with the new.... Fenson, still waiting to hear back about what shorts you were talking about, just tell me the name and I will look up the details and see if it's "up my alley"

I was working on your script, doing some editing (rewriting/shortening some lines), timing it, basic TS. But then I remembered why I quit doing this kind of stuff years ago. I might finish it down the line if I feel like it. What I noticed while I was watching your release: - timing is not perfect, lots of flashing between lines, some bleeds, lead-in/out too short; but it's serviceable for the most part - some lines are way too long for the allotted time they're on screen - script reads a little bit stiff/overly literal in some parts, but that's really just my opinion (I'd try to better capture the jokes/puns in some situations) BUT you clearly put a lot of effort in this release, for a person who hasn't worked with these kind of tools before. And SYD isn't an easy series to work with. So, thanks for this!

Some of the two-line subs bother me, but not too much... I've followed different people's advice about post process timing fixes, automatically setting lead in/out and such... several people pointed me to the same website about how to set up aegisub to fix issues like that in a single pass automatically, so I did that and then went back and fixed whatever it accidentally misaligned, which wasn't much. So now the video looks about as good as I can get it to look, even added a few extra stylings.... I will make a patch as soon as I can figure out how to do that, so that everyone can patch their file to the newest version... I think I can do it in such a way that it works regardless of which video file of mine you have.... might even make it so that it patches the original raw.... if I can figure out the xdelta thing... anyway, plugging away, learning bit by bit.

fenson, sorry, it's been a while since I checked the comments on this torrent... if you check back ever, the answers to your questions: I'm not exactly sure what "joke" is, but I checked it out, it seems like it might be a bonus feature from one of the BD's... a lot like the "omake" videos I've seen with other series, where they take snips of the show, and try to adlib something funny, or make a side-story where everyone is being a little more "off the wall" ... but I'm not sure. as far as requests go, I don't usually take requests. I will check out a couple of the shorts you mentioned to see if any of them pique my interest. Surely some other groups have done some of those, though?? I thought Cinderella Girls was fairly popular... anyway I will take a look at some.
