I recommend that you do not use VLC unless you're sure you've fixed the problem (I fixed it by changing [this setting](https://i.imgur.com/8G2d06D.png)).
I promised I would not start working on a new BD release before finishing Seirei no Moribito, and I have not broken that promise yet. I might finish up old projects but I won't start new ones.

Yes, obviously I think this release blows everything else out of the water in every way, otherwise I wouldn't work on it and I'd do something else with my time. Picture quality, script, TL accuracy, sound quality (I fixed some popping artifacts), typesetting, timing... there is nothing about any other release that is better than this release.
EDIT: It's not like I have any competition. The only other releases have unmodified R1 subs which are pretty much always deficient in many ways. The only thing other releases are competing on are picture quality, which I might well win anyway.
