Beatrice-raws/Commie remux.
Beatrice-raws put keyframes on the chapters so I took advantage and split the openings and endings and tied them back together using ordered chapters.
Showing Kamtsu how it's done, again.
For someone who is so keen on saving precious gigabytes, you sure do you like to download upscaled 1080p encodes.
*sigh*
thanks for the memes. Source is actually [SCY], not Kametsu.
https://nyaa.si/view/989327
Commie never did a BD batch, by the way.
The subs are my own modification of Coalgirls BD batch, which is a modification of Commie's TV batch.
It's even got the exact same track names as my release lol.
>Oh, and ignore the red remake status. Nyaa.se had a nonsensical rule that the first person to throw subs on a raw now “owned” that raw and anybody who came later got red.
I would recommend asking a mod here whether this is actually how this works.
That is how it works.
The first person to release in a format owns the video and subs for that format. Slap someone else's DVD subs on your own webrip? You now own those subs for all webrips and any other webrip that uses them counts as a remake of yours. Slap TV subs on someone else's BD raw? You now own both that video and the subs. If anyone else takes the same raw and puts different subs on it it counts as a remake of yours. If anyone else puts the same subs on a different encode it counts as a remake of yours.
And if you'll notice this has absolutely nothing to do with the downloaders since it's only enforced if the so-called owner complains.
Kametsu has a team that sits here and checks every single new upload\ to Nyaa for anything that uses subs or video that they've used before. They're the only ones I know of who do this, when literally nothing that they do is their own.
>Lots of words
I would recommend asking a mod here whether this is actually how this works.
I'm not really saying that you're wrong. What I am saying is that maybe you should ask the *brand new mod staff* which might have brand new interpretations of the (fairly ambiguous) rules before complaining about the old nyaa's rules.
As to why I have marked this as a remake: Because Scy bitched about it and I honestly don't feel like dealing with either of you fucktwats. Remove the remake flag if you want. This isn't how I want to spend my Christmas.
So AAC dupes of any kind don't classify as remakes these days. Gotcha.
Man I should start my own [AAC] tag and re-release every FLAC fansub/remux/raws release out there while not giving any credit.
I'm sure that would be appreciated by everyone.
He worked from the same raw as you did, but included scans, reencoded to aac and did ordered chapter stuff. I don't see how this is a "AAC dupe".
Go waste someone else's time with your whining.
@CheekyKoala
Saying he ''worked from the same raw'' implies he worked on this from scratch, which obviously isn't true. As I stated before, this is simply a downgrade of my SCY release. It's got the exact same track names (both video and subs ) and uses my modification of Coalgirls' subs.
So to summarize: he added OC, NCOP/NCED files, re-ecoded the audio to AAC, added scans and added the Japanese-only OVA.
And how much space does that take up? Less than 10%. The remaining 90% is the original remux but with AAC audio. So yeah, I'd say calling this an (AAC) dupe is more than fair.
You call it whining and wasting time, but I'm simply going off of the rules stated here https://nyaa.si/rules. I'd say it's about time someone started calling him out for the things he does.
Why are you quoting shit that refers to uploading other people's releases? That's entirely irrelevant. Even if it was a remake of your release, it wouldn't be **your** release. Those rules apply to files which are **your** release.
Entirely irrelevant? ''Finally, a few notes concerning tagging and using other people's work:'' is the ONLY part in the ''rules'' section that refers to remakes. So it's completely relevant. Basically, you're confirming one single change is enough to warrant a non-remake status. Correct? If so, why are re-encodes marked as remakes?
Because the remake section on the help page says so, dum-dum. You can't base your argument on the introductory sentence of a list when the items in the list themselves explicitly have nothing to do with the situation you're trying to make them fit. There's a reason why reencodes don't have the original group tag in them; it's because further down the rules page, it states you shouldn't use other group's tags for things that aren't their releases.
Ah, so part of the rules are listed on the help page then? Instead of, you know, the rules page? That makes sense.
All of that information being taken into account, you're confirming what I said before. All it takes is a single change to warrant a non-remake status.
Man I love Nyaa.
Look, I think you and kuchi just need to be honest about your feelings for each other. It's plain as day to anyone else in here, the sexual tension between the two of you is having adverse effects on the mood in this community. You need to get it out of your system, preferably by engaging in sensual passionate homosexual intercourse with each other. Your naked oiled bodies writhing in pleasure as you penetrate each other's perfectly shaven buttholes, kuchi whispering into your ear about how linked MKVs are a widely used feature just as your bodies are linked while you tell him that he's stealing not just your releases but also your virginity.
I would clarify the remake rules if I had the power to do so, but let's be real: nobody gives a shit about the grey area of remakes; that is, nobody who isn't trying his best to start shit with a certain other person constantly.
Whether or not this release is marked as a remake is the most inconsequential shit ever, and you getting this uppity about it shows that you don't really care about the remake status, you care about telling kuchi he's a faggot, something he's well aware of and gets reminded of all the time by everyone he comes across. Hell, I'd be yelling "kuchi is a faggot" from the rooftops, if anyone in my immediate vicinity even knew who the fuck he was.
I became a mod by being a useful person and submitting accurate reports as well as valuable contributions. There's no nepotism here, I didn't know any of the site admins or mods before i became a mod. But thanks for implying implications.
I'm just crediting the original people that put work into said release; something I feel like the uploader should be doing. Makes it easier for anyone who cares about the contents of said uploads and the original sources.
But okay, I'll stop reporting kuchi's torrents as remakes if that's what you want.
I wasn't actually implying anything. Merely curious.
Merry Christmas.
The description does link back to your torrent, so I think that's credit enough. If you feel like that's not enough and wish to elaborate that the sub track has your edits in it, feel free to do so in the comments, but in a manner that doesn't resort to stupid accusations like "stealing". It's not like either of you do any groundbreaking work. Both of you mostly ride on the coattails of other releases.
Merry Christmas, go eat some cookies or whatever.
>Look, I think you and kuchi just need to be honest about your feelings for each other. It’s plain as day to anyone else in here, the sexual tension between the two of you is having adverse effects on the mood in this community.
Don't read a mood into it. When idiots line up before me saying, "Look at how easily triggered I am," I really can't help but go "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" "TRIGGER" until they learn to grow up.
It's just a community service I provide.
No wonder why fuckwits like Rukia still aren't banned yet. It's cuz the site is run by a shitty moderation team. It's all clear to me now. No other mod I know of is as trashy as Koala; now that guy is a real cuntbag. Do the honorable thing and resign, you Australian bear. You are the cancer of the pirating community.
Stevangelion thats so funny!
Omg, I just noticed there are 3 staff (mods) in this thread! CheekyKoala, ReimuHakurei and Aureolin - with Miku avatar (art by Pixiv artist Lpip).
Thats all so cool and fun and funny! The things said and going on here and the things fought over here. I like it here. I would like more. lalala.. lala.. la
@Scyrous you have to consider that a archive worthy release doesn't mean you cant save space. A encode doesn't have to be lossless to be transparent. http://wiki.hydrogenaud.io/index.php?title=Lame take a look at the settings for mp3 for example. You don't need lossless audio for a transparent listen. You also don't need full bluray bloat for transparency. Take a look at movie trackers like awesomehd with p2p groups like DON, they encode movies so they use just the space that's necesarry. Sure kuchi is not being nice to you but he still is right by not applying a double standard to audio vs video. You still reencode the bluray source video so why is the audio suddenly holy and must remain untouched?
