Is it just me or do the remastered versions sound a lot more dull compared to the originals?

yes,also kabaneri.I think the producer change elements by less low bass impact,less of high treble.and more distorted noise and less sound stage.Kinda like less smell of orchestra and step back of remastering to comfort zone?

Idk man,this album mastering is really muffled and lack of huge sound stage.It's like kinda (not really) stereo.I already check carefully on Spotify source.It's the sound stage is really weird and kinda bad for me,I really have no idea what the behind the producer desk think about this kind of remastering.

I usually stick to CD quality, but not for EGOIST. Thought the remastered one would be better. It sounds incredibly muffled. Will stick with the CD version then.
