If you don't want to make your own encodes, Leopard works fine. Unrelated: I recommend mkvtoolnix to mux in the .ass into the mkv, that way you can also include any fonts as attachments.

leopard is better than ohys, that's right. but it's still much worse than your own encode (if you do the encode properly, of course)
