My own 720p encode is coming in around 2 hours (which came out really nice), but since I made this philosophy-raws remux I decided to get it out. Using linked mkvs for the opening and encoding the two bloated 24 bit FLAC tracks to AAC saves around 6.5GB.
OVA 2 is using Beatrice-Raws video since philosophy-raws never did it.
On AB there’s also a complete Beatrice-Raws remux release with the same linked mkv treatment. It’s rather large so I don’t feel like releasing it on Nyaa.
The MKV language selection is set to ENG for the English subs and ZXX for the Signs & Songs like all my dual-audio releases, so if you're a dub watcher just enter ZXX in LAV Splitter and you'll get signs automatically.
Other dual-audio releasers use idiotic systems like marking the English subtitles JPN and using ENG for the signs (standard for Exiled-Destiny), which means sub watchers will always get the signs because we're set up to pick ENG to get English subs in every other release. Or the groups just mark them both ENG, which means LAV Splitter doesn't know which is which and will just pick the first, and since these groups mostly release with English/Signs default it once again means sub viewers get the signs. So neither of those systems works.
In order for the tracks to be able to be picked automatically, the English subs need to be marked ENG and the Signs something else, so I decided on ZXX (no linguistic content) for Signs just because it's not used for anything else.
I’ll be uploading this once and only once, and only to Nyaa, so when it’s dead here, it’s dead.
Also, thank you for putting your personal tag at the end of the filename, I wish that wasn't such a rare occurrence. Keep up the good work and thanks again!
Not only is it ordered chapters (there's a reason no one does these), but the "NCOP" isn't so NC. The NC stands for "No Credits," which this definitely isn't.
The only reason nobody does ordered chapters anymore is because it saves them from having to listen to whiny kids in comment sections complain about how their broken ass decade old video player doesn't support it. Ditch buggy VLC and install CCCP or MPV and you'll never have a playback problem again.
