@Betterdeadthanred are you referring to that this series is VERY generic , just with the theme changed from "idol" in the hopes some people might be fooled into thinking that the series idea is new and entertaining .

@some1 , I hang out for this series as much as anyone else (disappointed it was not posted yesterday) - but that does not change its VERY , VERY generic nature .

It is VERY MUCH how anime works in reality . This show is "girl becomes mascot to save/bring fame to town" ! A re-hash of Locodol , Sakura Quest , and a number of others . It is generic BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS SO SIMILAR in theme .

I get the strong feeling you don't actually watch any anime. Don't worry though, this is normal within the Western anime community.
