@PA-Subs I use windows media player. Maybe you should use VLC media player and hardsub it.

@rubi321, use either KCP or CCCP. They're the standard every fansub subs to nowadays. We can't provide support for anything else.

My number 1 media player is always MPC-HQ night builds: http://nightly.mpc-hc.org/ For subtitles use the internal filter or this: https://code.google.com/archive/p/xy-vsfilter/ Never had issues with any video.

@ZeroRaitoSan use handbrake its easy to use and points out itself almost it converts to mp4 if you want to play it on a ps3 of 4
