Print version of the omnibus at least does read left to right, the publisher Dark Horse decided to flip it when they translated it. Which is too bad, I thought the digital version at least might be restored

well this translated version was published around early 2000s, and Dark House is also a American publisher. so from a business standpoint it's makes sense why they decided to flipped it. back then there weren't a big audience for manga. and most of the people who started reading it in the western countries were mostly comic readers. who weren't used to reading from right to left format with black and white colors. so there was noway the publishers could attract people to buy their product. when the people were simply not interested in those kind of format in the first place
