My rip/encodes/scans of the Walküre 2nd LIVE BD. The concert was really fun to watch, makes me wish I could have seen it in person. I also wish I could subtitle it but lack of the requisite skill, knowledge and time precludes that; if anyone else felt ambitious enough I’d love to see it happen. The concert clocks in at 03:13:42. Also included is the documentary video (00:14:31) and ‘Walküre ga Tomaranai’ music video (00:05:31). The video is 10 bit x264, encoded at CRF 18 and passed through QTGMC just because I could (the 1080p video was done with the ‘medium’ preset while the 720p file used the ‘slow’ preset) – I’ll never claim to be a competent encoder. The 1080p version uses FLAC audio (48 kHz/24 bit) while the 720p version uses AAC (48 kHz/CBR 320 kb/s). Chapter names are Japanese with romaji in parentheses (the video header is Japanese only since the romaji/English version is the actual filename). I scanned the slip case, jacket cover, and booklet as well as the mini photobook and A5 size folder that were bonuses. Scanning continues to be my greatest weakness but I did my best; I know there’s a release by Zero_fansub.ru that also includes scans which may be worth checking out if you’re unhappy with mine. The booklet scans were originally done at 600 ppi but then I halved the total pixels. The photobook was done at 300 ppi (mostly since I wasn't sure how they'd turn out). The scans in the 1080p torrent are PNGs while the 720p torrent has JPGs. While waiting for the video to encode I decided to also do a separate folder of just the audio, divided into tracks using the same timings as the chapters. So I extracted the uncompressed audio loaded it into Audacity and then exported each track as its own file. FLAC files are included with the 1080p torrent while MP3 versions are included with the 720p torrent. As with my regular music releases the filenames use romaji/English while the metadata is Japanese. Just for fun I also embedded a ‘cover’ image that is a cropped version of the A5 folder scan. I took some extra time checking things to try to eliminate the silly mistakes that always seem to come up in my releases, but I wouldn’t be shocked if I still missed something. If I did, please let me know. Otherwise I hope you enjoy the concert as much as I have. Any help with seeding is always greatly appreciated, especially on a torrent this large. Also, please be patient during initial seeding.
