Reuploading stuff that I was still seeding. These had been encoded and uploaded by sarachikorita before.
Batches up my previous eps, and finishes the set. Feel free to include the files you got. Here's the story behind these rips... Back in 2007 or 2008, with Yauncle encoding, Pokémon-Originals released the first known set of English DVD rips of the Orange Islands episodes to contain Pikachu's Jukebox, as it aired on Kids WB and elsewhere. These were mostly based on the US DVDs. Several years later, I was asked, or rather tasked, to do new encodes of the original Pokémon series in English. Some time into this project, my old group, Pokémon-Originals, imploded, and I continued the job under the name ColdFusion. This is but one part of that project. When the Orange Islands DVDs were released, they were 12 episodes per disc. This is an extremely tight fit even for dual layer discs, and it sometimes shows. Back when Yauncle and I were putting together the original set of rips, we used the best material we had available at the time, but for most of the run it was just the R1s, mostly untouched. The encoding wasn't too hot either, but x264 was a relatively new thing for us at the time, and we didn't know how to exploit its full potential. These new encodes borrowed from the old encodes a listing of what Jukebox sequences should be bound to which episodes; this listing was made, inasfar as we had the resources at the time, using US TV rips, and whatever other material available to us had this information. The rest of this information was, admittedly, conjectured (not always correctly). As I lost the audio for the Pikachu's Jukebox eyecatch (and let's be honest, it never really sounded right) I did not include it on these new encodes. I did, however, continue to include Pikachu's Jukebox, just as before. Due to the low quality of the source, video-wise, I have opted (for the body of the episode only) to use Japanese HDTV satellite rips procured from 2011-2014 in place of most of the R1 footage. The opening, ending, pre-episode eyecatch, Who's That Pokémon?, and Pikachu's Jukebox (with the exception of a short bit of "What Kind of Pokémon Are You?" taken from a Cartoon Network rip instead) are taken from the R1 DVDs as usual. The original, as-aired version of "What Kind of Pokémon Are You?" is restored (with the original Pikachu cry and "kick your grass" intact). Using the R4 DVDs from Australia, some missing footage from "The Mandarin Island Miss Match" has been reinstated, and there is also a short extension to "Enter the Dragonite" when compared to the official version. Additionally, although the two cuts in "Pokémon Double Trouble" were, out of necessity, preserved, paint edits throughout the run have not been recreated, so you will occasionally see onscreen text that you don't recall being there when you originally saw it, because it wasn't there. The shortened opening on very late episodes is preserved, recreated according to a Polish VCD rip. I am not intending, apart from the two episodes of Johto Journeys which were for some reason not included on US DVDs, to do any further dub-over-raw encodes for the original (pre-Advanced) episodes, but the possibility remains open for a later do-over using the same techniques. These videos are presented at 480p. I know I said I used an HDTV station for source, but they upscaled the show, and I'm not going to release upscales (for one, they're not allowed here, and for another, it's ridiculous and a waste of space).
