WTF is this shit? 60fps? For fuck sake.
It's double telecined. There's no perfect solution to a double telecined source, but the best one is to just deinterlace it to 60fps since you transition away from the bad frames in 16ms instead of lingering on them for 42.
How's this compared to ED's release?
I'm sorry that (and pardon my English) I had to register an account to say this, nothing personal of course because I've seen too many of this, is this how society nowadays? Not happy with something and then shit this fuck that? Makes you feel cool or superior? Although I can understand if it's intended to be a joke (e.g: "your waifu is SHIT!") Can't people express/ask in a more polite way? Addressed toward another fellow person showing even the slightest respect? Don't forget that we are taking these releases for granted, from someone who doesn't even expect anything in return. If you see problem/have question just ask/report normally, it doesn't hurt to do so, no? So today in year 2020 I'm looking for some BD release (of this my fave series) to replace my old release by ED, alas! no BD yet, so I compared this with ED and decide which to keep: while the video quality is more crisp on this release (and the newer dual audio version while have same video as this, have better subs font), probably the biggest difference is the naming scheme used on the subs, Kuchikirukia used full Baronh naming (e.g: Sfagnomh), while ED used the name from how it's pronounced (e.g: Sufugnoff/Sufagnoff), I prefer the later since it's easier to follow (and those are what used on most wikia too), while the former is faithful to the novel, so it's up to your preference really. Both releases are perfectly watchable. Almost the same filesizes, although one is 60fps another is 30fps with reason previously stated by uploader. I still prefer if there were ever future release, fansubbers will include both style of naming, this series indeed has a unique naming system which I think is the charm, kudo to Morioka-sensei for creating this novel. Also Thanks Kuchikirukia and ED for releasing these subs. http://www.abhnation.com/
