As her eyes adjusted to the light, slowly there came into her view a sea of stars. From floor to ceiling, there lay suspended tiny flecks of light, each with a hint of some shade of color that she would not have been able to name if pressed. Absent-mindedly, she took a step, and when she moved, the effect was stunning–she was within a sort of snowglobe of light, though unlike a snowglobe in that its contents hung motionless in the air. And when she froze, looking up at the ceiling, she might have been excused for thinking that she had been teleported outside to a perfectly clear night.
