Source (Video): R2 Dragon Box Source (Audio): Japanese TV Broadcast (BS Fuji) This is a project done with love for Dragon Ball. (Yes, some people like Dragon Ball GT). The project got started because all official releases of Dragon Ball have not so clear audio. So when we got our hands on Japanese television broadcast audio, even though it wasn't recorded in the highest possible quality, we decided to sync it to the Dragon Boxes. And since sangofe's a timing nerd who's obsessed with good timing, he retimed the scripts. Names have also been changed to be consistent with some of our favorite releases of various Dragon Ball series'. On top of this we have edited in missing stutters and even translated some missing lines. **Encoder note:** Episodes 27-50 needed a bit of extra work for the opening theme due to the way the tapes were transfered for the Dragon Box DVD releases. They feature some awful frame blending, possibly due to an overlay error during production, that couldn't be fixed through filtering. Instead we used the majority of the video from the OP of episode 51, carefuly edited to not throw off audio sync and match the time codes of the original video. Only two segments of the damaged OP that feature music credit titles are left in, and the blending is harder to notice there as these segments feature less movement. The final segment where the OP changes to feature Baby is undamaged in the original release and is left intact. Upon normal viewing these changes should be imperceptible to the viewer.
