Don't use @ in file names... A boy with the capacity to see invisible scary supernatural creatures ends up alone because of it. But after finding his grandmother's book of friends, signed by "demons", he slowly become friends with both people and "demons". I am very fond of another anime called Mushishi, it's one of the most special anime that I've seen, with Hell Girl. Natsume was recommended for it and is so very high rated. But I was reluctant because of the cat, and I can't stand him in that disguise, but his real form is badass like a giant Okami. I wish he looked like a chibi dog instead, damn he's obnoxious. They show that bullying Natsume is wrong (he has more PTSD nightmares about that than seeing monsters), but they bully the cat for being fat at the same time... Not funny. Not cool. But still mostly great. I like Mushishi better because it's an adult that's not in school. The world is more fantastic and poetic, but also more sorrowful. So Natsume's friendlier tone is easier to watch, even if it gets childish at times for people who aren't in high school anymore. It's charming. You don't have to see the previous seasons to understand what's going on, but with an anime that has almost 5/5 for every season, why not watch all the good stuff. It's nice to see Natsume and the "demons" slowly evolve, becoming more open and friendlier. I was worried that he'd run out of pages, but the stories are more varied than just giving the names back. So it's fun and deep at the same time. The high score is well deserved. Enjoy~
