Episode 481-491 Normally these are 12 episodes long, but 492 is the TorikoXOne Piece crossover which was not dubbed and will not be released so don't be concerned when you realize that I skipped it in the next batch. Quite a few things have changed in this batch. First of all, I'm not using HDTV rips any more. They were required previously because I needed something that was encoded at 30fps since that is what One Piece was animated at (at least parts of it). Funimation apparently is streaming the new episodes at 30fps, which suits my needs quite well. Now, I don't know if Toei gave them the raw videos before any Japanese text was put on there or if these are just high quality DVD upscales, but the video is in English. All the text appears exactly like it does on the DVD release. Obviously this makes things a lot easier for me. So from now on that is what I will be using. Now the details. The actual video source is courtesy of NeutralHatred. After I got it, I removed the Toei and Funimation splashes at the beginning using the same process as for the HorribleSubs webrips. After that, I took a slightly different approach to padding the beginning in order to get the audio to sync. What I used to do was just delay the video by a second give or take a few frames depending on the episode. That caused some minor but weird issues sometimes. This time I decided to take a different approach. I encoded a bunch of video at 30fps. It was 720p blackness. I did a bunch of different lengths so that I could put the perfect one to each episode to get the audio to sync right and then appended it using mkvtools to the beginning of the video.
