FAQ:
Q: Will any other higher/lower resolutions be released?
A: No.
Q: What audio+sub combination is default?
A: Japanese Audio, Full English subtitles
Q: Will you be doing encodes for the Death Note blurays?
A: Probably... not. I've heard/seen some evidence of mishandled deinterlacing on the progressive blurays. I've also seen/heard evidence of warpsharping. Typical Viz incompetence. Don't buy the blurays.
Q: What should I do if I see a problem in this release?
A: Leave a comment/tell us on irc. Our IRC channel is [\#FMA1394@irc.hoshinet.org](irc://irc.hoshinet.org/fma1394)
Q: Where are the dank memes?
A: ...did herkz rub off on you or something?
Q: Are you looking for help with this project?
A: Absolutely! I would love to have a competent QCer. If my QC from Death Note is reading this, I have no idea where you went, but if you want to work on this project, I'd love to have you back!
Q: Credits? Textless OP/ED?
A: English Credits.
Q: Why would you bother with such an old series?
A: Besides the notion that Fullmetal Alchemist is a long standing favorite of mine, every single release of it out there is complete shit. AHQ? Please.
Q: Why would you do SD encodes of a Bluray instead of just using the DVD?
A: The bluray is a lot cleaner. I did comparisons of it with the R2J DVDs. The fact that this is H.264 and not MPEG2 helped a lot with retaining detail. Really a good job by Funimation in producing these discs.
