I really didn't look forward to working on the last few episodes of this show. All the numerous one-frame-long subtitles and extended episode length of the DC versions meant a lot of manual styling, but it's finally done. This particular disc presented some challenges because episode 19 was especially bad in the color department. After seeing Sephirotic's insane efforts to color correct every shot, I went about doing my own manual correction, though not quite every shot; I'd say maybe 80% of the episode was individually corrected, but it's still a massive improvement over the original version on the BD. I threw on a small layer of grain since it happens to be a severely DNR'd episode (though I also DNR'd a few shots that were uncharacteristically grainy), and think it holds up much better now. The OA versions of 21 and 22 were a bit annoying to do because they required me to create subs from scratch. Bloat never included them, so I had to go back to the Platinum DVD subs and make my own, then splicing in the sign subs I did for the DC. Ironically, because I started with fresh subs, the timing on the OA dialogue might be better than the DC. I had to re-encode 21-22 (OA \*and\* DC) which is why this disc took a while to release. The beginning of 21DC in particular threw off the encoder with its fake tape noise, so I zoned out that portion to lower the bitrate. One more disc to go!
