TL;DR: BD release from AnimeBytes using Hatsuyuki's subs. It is not a remake but must be marked as one due to Nyaa technicalities. I haven't watched it myself because it is not my release but it's probably your best bet for this show unless you want Crunchy subs, in which case you'll have to wait for SallySubs to finish their BDs. I don't know how the encoding quality compares to SallySubs though. If someone could do a screenshot comparison I'd appreciate it. Original description on AB: "Remux. Video: アニメ BD Audio: jsum Subs: Hatsuyuki (re-timed, minor edits, added karaoke) \+ chapters NCOP/EDs included. Unfortunately the TV/Web releases didn't have the "next episode preview" at the end of episodes 8 and onwards like the bluray has. Since no subgroup seems to have taken up the blurays yet, those parts remain untranslated for now." \------------ (Superfluous information follows, if you just want to watch the anime stop reading here) This release was originally posted by (and likely created by) the user Omeiht on AnimeBytes and uses (edited) subs from Hatsuyuki, thus the group name. However, there is something to mention - although the folder has the name \[Omeiht-Hatsuyuki\], the episodes themselves have the abbreviated tag \[Omeyuki\]. I have done this for three reasons: [\#1](//www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=1) - \[Omeiht-Hatsuyuki\] is a long tag and is clunky; although it contains more information, a short tag is better for letting the user see more of the filename before it is truncated with ellipses by Windows Explorer or an equivalent. [\#2](//www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=2) - \[Omeyuki\] will not run over into a new line, causing visually unappealing results in a file explorer. Take a look at the ugly "ki\]" on a new line that happens with the full group name and how much better it looks with the abbreviated one. ![Image](https://i.imgur.com/sxxMv1g.jpg) [\#3](//www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=3): It is a lot cuter. \------------ This torrent contains the same files as Omeiht's upload, but with different filenames. I changed them to conform to typical fansub standards. I did this because I disagreed with many aspects of how the original filenames were handled. I had three major problems and two minor problems with their filenames, and will explain my reasoning in the following paragraphs. Their nomenclature was as follows - here is the filename of the first episode in the original release: \[アニメ BD + jsum\] 01. Premonition Of A Journey.mkv Problem [\#1](//www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=1) (Major): The group name means almost nothing. To someone who does not understand katakana, it means even less. "アニメ BD" just means "Anime BD" - why is the "Anime" necessary? Of course it's anime, you would already know that or you wouldn't be downloading it. The fact that it lists the source type (BD) in the filename is good, but should be in a different place in the filename. And finally, "jsum" is the uploader from whom the audio was sourced. This is not nearly as relevant to the group name as where the subs are sourced, and yet "Hatsuyuki" is not mentioned once in the filename. Users do not care if the audio from the anime they are watching was uploaded by jsum or not, but they likely will care about what group did the subs. Group names, especially for BD encodes, do not absolutely have to contain the group that originally did the subs (see Coalgirls releases) but including the information I included is surely far more relevant than a tag of "\[アニメ BD + jsum\]". "アニメ BD" is not the name of a person or group who contributed to this release so it should not be in the group name, and although jsum contributed the audio I don't believe he should be in there either. Problem [\#2](//www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=2) (Major): The filename does not contain the name of the show. If a user takes any of the files out of their original folder for any reason, they will become unidentifiable from the file name alone. This is idiocy. These filenames are not quite as bad as literally being named "01.mkv", "02.mkv", etc., but they're close, because they both have the same dumb core problem of not having the show's name anywhere in the filename. Thus I have added the filename in as "Magi - The Kingdom of Magic". I would have entered it as "Magi: The Kingdom of Magic" but Windows does not support colons in filenames so I settled for a hyphen rather than a semicolon or nothing at all. Problem [\#3](//www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=3) (Major): Episode titles in filenames. This is the most egregious offense this naming protocol commits. Episode titles from future episodes the user has not watched yet can potentially be spoilers and should not be in the filenames, where a user's eyes might casually wander down and ruin future events for themselves. If you don't think this is a real problem, consider the title of LoGH episode 82: "The Magician Doesn't Come Back" That is just the first thing that immediately comes to mind, but there are many, many more examples of episode titles that can spoil the plot of a show. Having episode titles in filenames is only detrimental to the user because they will see the title anyway when they watch the episode, so having it in the filename only serves to possibly spoil them. If you are reading this and are someone who plans to ever put out a release of anything in the future, then please, please never do this. Problem [\#4](//www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=4) (Minor): No mentioning of resolution and audio type, in this case 1080p and FLAC respectively. This is not a huge deal but having this information in the filename is a good idea, for the same reason having the name of the show in the filename is essential. Although the original folder name does contain this information, the filenames of the episodes themselves do not. If the folder the release originally came in is renamed and the original release description is lost for some reason (i.e. a user reuploading to another torrent site such as TPB/KAT without copying over the description), then users will know the resolution and audio type without having to download it for themselves and check. Problem [\#5](//www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=5) (Minor): No CRC. CRC values are those eight-character codes you often see at the end of filenames, i.e. \[1B282186\]. They serve to verify the file's integrity as to avoid corruption. I have never had a problem with file corruption and as such have never used them but they're standard to include at this point so you might as well. ------------ Thus, I have renamed all of the files to the default way it is done today in fansubbing. I'm sure fansubbing veterans don't need any justification as to my actions, as they understand well the importance of a good filename. The way the cartel has decided anime filenames should be is not perfect, but it's pretty darn good. For those of you who hadn't thought about the importance of filenames before, I hope this mini-essay/rant has been enlightening. But why, you may ask, did I write all this out? Why go on this rant? Well, a friend asked me to find a good Magi S2 torrent for him since he couldn't find any. I found this release on AnimeBytes that looked good but it wasn't on Nyaa, so I decided to just reupload it here, but I couldn't do that with a clear conscience. Releasing something upon the public with atrocious filenames like the original release had would be a crime against humanity. But there was a problem with doing that - a small little detail hidden deep within the depths of this site's rulebook that ended up throwing a huge monkey wrench into my plans: >Orange entries: Torrents must be marked as remakes if any of the following applies to the release: >Reupload of original release using non-original file names. This release is not a remake, and yet it must be marked orange as to comply with Nyaa's rules. It will get a bad name - _I_ will get a bad name - even though it is not a reencode of any kind. People will laugh at me in the streets. _"Look at that Xavier guy,"_ they'll say. _"I heard he uploaded an orange release on Nyaa. What a loser. Kimochi warui."_ And that I cannot take idly. This is injustice. I fix the broken filenames of the original release, and I must mark this torrent orange as a result? What a travesty. How can the mods call themselves _seigi no mikata_ (TL: allies of justice) when they are enforcing broken, bigoted rules like these? Well, I will not stand for it. Maybe I alone cannot change the rules of Nyaa, but with the help of everyone it may be possible. My hope is that this essay will spark a fire in the hearts of Nyaa commenters and users everywhere. Just as the great Martin Luther nailed his theses to the door of the All Saints' Church in 1517, nearly five hundred years ago, sparking the Catholic Reformation, I will post this torrent description to Nyaa in the hopes that a similar revolution will take place. Viva la revolución! Down with Herkz! Down with Nyaa! Down with Xythar! (Daiz is cool though.) Anyway, enjoy the release.

pls seed thisssssssss
Would've been easier to reseed from AB if the uploader didn't rename the file. =__=
