The release is based off of **WhyNot’s** 172p JP-BD release but everything associated with it has been heavily modified. I kind of went overboard with the modifications in the end (Steins;Gate-esque) but oh well. I made this release primarily because there really wasn’t a quality Dual Audio version out there. ABi’s release was ok but the video quality was horrific compared to WhyNot’s JP-BD release, did not have FLAC audio (and used the much lower quality Jap audio track from the US-BD) and had typesetting and script errors remaining especially with his signs. I also wanted to use WhyNot’s translation. Video and Japanese audio comes from WhyNot’s 720p 10-bit AAC JP-BD release. The JP-BD quality was much better than the US-BD imo. I encoded the English 5.1 AAC tracks from the US-BD along with the English Commentary tracks for Episodes 6, 10, 15 & 22. The WhyNot subs track was heavily modified. The karaoke with romaji effects all come from **Hybrid-Kaitou’s** subs (which **ABi** edited originally) which I left intact except for the OP2 which I retypesetted with a fusion of some of WhyNot’s effects. While I liked WhyNot’s script, they were missing lots of signs and extra typesetting elements. I edited and retimed all the missing ones in from the Commie script while appropriately adjusting names and terminology for each release. I picked and chose certain signs/typesetting elements if I thought they were more superior in a certain script. For **Commie’s** script, I used **ABi’s edit** as a base but added missing signs and typesetting from the WhyNot release into it as well. I also fixed up a decent number of typesetting and timing errors that were still left in the script along with missing signs. Signs & Songs tracks were made from both final edited versions of the WhyNot and Commie scripts with some changes made in the wording used for the WhyNot Signs to match the English dub. Retail PGS subs from the US-BD were included as well. I could write more but I’m not going to. I put way too much time into this (more than I’d like to admi).
