I based the 720p 8-bit version primarily on **Doki’s 720p 8-bit AAC JP-BD** release. For the English dub, I converted **philosophy-raws’** English 2.0 FLAC audio to 2.0 AAC and synced the track in. I'll go into some details on all the edits that I made to the subs. I included 5 different tracks/translations (not including the Signs & Songs track): **Doki** (used **Static-Subs**), **Elysium** (used **Mazui**), **UTW** (used... **UTW**), **Tormaid/joseole99** (used **S-S/UTW**) and the **official R1 PGS** subs from phillosophy-raws release. All the tracks were heavily edited by me except for Tormaid/joseole99's track (I just retimed these and threw them in because I had the files) and the official R1 PGS subs. **Doki**'s release had the best typesetting for their OP/ED/Insert song karaoke and most of their signs so I used that as the base for all 3 main sub tracks. However, Doki was missing a few signs and text in about 70% of the episodes (or UTW/Elysium had better ones) so I inserted and edited missing/superior ones from UTW (who had the second best typesetting) and Elysium's releases. For the default dialogue text, I kept the same font for each respective translation as I didn't want to deal with screwing up dimensions or line breaks. Also, I thought that Elysium/Mazui's font combination probably looked the best. You can see examples of this in combination with an Insert Song below and some examples of the signs. Doki/Static-Subs only used "Tenshi" to refer to Angel/Kanade while UTW, Elysium/Mazui and the Signs & Songs only track used "Angel" so all the signs were edited for this (ex: Anti-Angel HQ vs Anti-Tenshi FQ). There were a few other instances too especially with the infamous Mapo Tofu (Doki=Mapo Doufu, Elysium=Mapo Tofu, UTW=Szechuan Tofu, Signs & Songs = Mapo Tofu). That's about it for the subs. IMO, I liked the **Mazui**'s translation the best as it seemed to be more natural and localized. I think that **Static-Subs** was closest to the original meaning while **UTW** was somewhere in between the two. However, they were all better than the R1 subs. Anyway, that's about it for this release. I just wanted to put together an archive worthy package with all my favorite subs incorporated into it.
