Just wanted to share this Maison Ikkoku 1080p Dual Audio release of the first 12 episodes that I made for my own personal archival purposes. All credits go to Kagura (video and Jap audio), DorianHD/DHD (English audio and PGS subs), NakamaSub (for subs 1-2), Mawaru (subs 1-6) and copyman (extra subs for 7-12). I just did the remuxing and slightly edited chapters for episodes 3-12 and slapped them on. For the subs, I put in as many options as there are currently available and chose the default as the one that was best imo. For episodes 1-2, I think NakamaSub had the best styled ass subs but DHD's are right up there/better. For episodes 3-12 (and maybe even 1-2), I found that DHD had the most superior (by far) subs that were styled PGS with appropriate sign placement, spacing/positioning and even had various translation notes during the ED of certain episodes. No group has translated the OP/ED. And yes, the English dub is awful but we need a definitive version, right? I'll try to release more if no one else does once the US sources continue to come out.
