This release is for Part 1: Phantom Blood & Part 2: Battle Tendency of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (2012), episodes 1-26. Hey guys, so I know many have been itching for a BD release of Jojo and the only available one subbed in english i by DmonHiro, who muxed BD raws with the official subs. I for one enjoyed gg's comical translation of Jojo (definitely made Part 1 much more watchable). But I do know many people enjoyed Commie's typesetting for the visual SFX, a staple of the Jojo manga franchise. So I decided to mux together all the best of the three. This release features: Translation and Signs by gg. SFX typesetting by Commie. BD Raw by Dmon. Editing, Timing and Remuxing by Jojo's Bizarre Subs. I re-timed the subtitles and signs to match the BD raw and my friend, Mortsyn, re-timed the typesetting (and re-coloured some too to match BD changes). We also spent quite a bit of time on QCing; correcting timing, spelling and grammar errors. I also decided to make Dio's catchphrases (WRYY & MUDAMUDA) more noticeable by making the 'WRYY' appear every time Dio screams it, and by translating always MUDAMUDA similar to "It's absolutely usless" with the number of MUDAS reciprocating the number of synonyms for 'absolutely.' Sound a little confusing? Don't worry, you'll get it when you watch it :P As for Part 2, we decided to keep gg's use of real-life band names for the Pillar Men. Kars is Cars. Wamuu is Wham. Esidisi is ACDC (lol). Spanish, Italian, German and Latin words are also kept (with some spelling corrections). Lastly, for those who only saw gg's HDTV releases, you'll probably enjoy the inclusion of the Visual SFX. You may recall the numerous times japanese text would appear in a striking manner on-screen? Those have been translated with corresponding visual effects. So.. Part 3 Startdust Crusaders was confirmed to be coming in 2014! This release should be a treat for those wanting to re-watch Jojo before Part 3 comes out. Enjoy! P.S. Sorry for making those eagerly anticipating Part 2 wait a long time.
