After watching WarrFork's subs of the OVA, I decided to try to improve them using scanlated pages from the manga as a source. They're probably not perfect, and there are some parts I had to completely ad-lib because I couldn't find them in the manga or the translations just simply didn't make sense to me. At the very least, it should read better since English is my first language. I really wish an actual subbing group would step up and do this, but for now I guess I'll just take what I can get.
