When the mighty hero falls, his young son Gohan rises up to face the very villains who murdered his father. The battle rages through space to Planet Namek, where Gohan and his overmatched allies risk their lives to defeat the Saiyan warlord Vegeta - and the monster known as Frieza!

Does this box set have the Yamamoto score or is it Kikuchi?
andiandi
It’s Yamamoto score

Only issue I had with this torrent was the subtitles for the special music takes priority over and doesn’t display the anime subtitles in episode 17 and 37. Hopefully someone can look into that.

Also episode 40 and 41

I have a question, if someone can answer : is the video source the original japanese bluray box ? So the english subs are sync with the japanese bluray ?
Its for a project.
andiandi
I can now confirm, subtitles are sync to the Japanese bluray (same source), you just have to show them later due to the lack of the 5 sec screen.

If you visit Kanzenshuu’s forum about the Yamamoto Revival, you can audio from the Yamamoto score that syncs up with this encode for KAI. I have the Yamamoto score as default for the TV version that I watched.

I posted this on Impakt’s torrent, so I figured I’d post it here too. I assume this has the same subtitles as that release.
Thanks for this torrent, but the SRT subs have quite a few issues. For anyone who wants them, I’ve OCR’d some better subs from the original SUP files.

These are the same translation as the SRT ones but in ASS format with proper formatting and with errors corrected. I set them to use the Funimitation font, included in the ZIP, and tried to mirror the official Funimation format. By comparison, the ones included in the torrent do not handle overlapping lines (see episode 17, starting at 11:39). They also had issues with spacing after exclamation points and lacked italics or any formatting.
