Tuttavia, la Terra del ’96 non è più quella di una volta: la differenza di clima, la mancanza di cibo e l’inquinamento rischiano di estinguere nuovamente le creature “giurassiche”. Per proteggerli viene istituita la pattuglia Born Free, che si occupa di trasportare i dinosauri nel più adatto ecosistema di Sarlon e di proteggerli dalle grinfie del bracconiere King Battler. In America la serie firmata dalla Tsuburaya Productions, specializzata nell’interazione tra modellini e figure animate (come in questo caso), è andata in onda con il titolo The Dinosaur Park. Dopo il successo del telefilm la Tsuburaya ha cavalcato il filone “giurassico” con IZenborg (1977).
