The surround track is there in FLAC for those who want it, but I find the sound effect replacements to be awful. At least it's not like 0083's dialogue replacement. One nice thing about the remix that I'll admit is that they redid the instrumentation in the OP song so that the final bars don't abruptly cut to the end. The English dub is also included, manually cut and synced up perfectly. The short film is 720p because it's pig disgusting digital animation that was upscaled. On the video side: This was definitely one of Bandai Visual's weaker remastering efforts. It's fairly grainy (though not untouched), and it's definitely 1080p, but the black levels have been utterly crushed and lifted. I'm partially inclined to say that this was a creative decision because it affects the show so consistently, and when the show was restored/remixed back in 2007, there were also some musical changes made to the BGM (See: Episode 10, when Shiro runs out of ammo, the music quickly fades out in the remix, whereas it continued to play in the original). Then again, it's more likely that Bandai just made a bad choice in grading the remaster. Oh and sorry for taking down the original batch, it lacked 7 and 8.
