This was our first project together and a joint with J4V fansubs but after awhile - J4V fansubs kinda died >\_< which were in charge of timing, translation and softsub releases (which would mean, we won't be releasing softsubs for this, sorry =x) - so eps7-12 are done by SkewedS only. Dang, after taking a peek again at episodes 1-6, I (zeldAIS) honestly think we sucked then >\_> This was my first series to typeset using aegisub as i was either typesetting using sabbu, medusa (mostly for karaoke though), but mostly notepad - so i told some time ago that this was my guinea pig project on how far i can stretch my typesetting skills... and hello? it took us 2 years to finish this and it's only 12 half hour episodes?! omg!! Season 2 is fansubbed by Ayu Anime and Shinsen-Subs (series are done btw). Season 3 is currently airing and it's bombarded with fansub groups working on the series XD hmm... to be honest, I was honestly kinda got weh with where the Live Action version's Shibata family story went to :P Read spoiler below if you want to know what happened to the anime - contains major spoilers on the anime though :P (But if you're like SacredCultivator-dono who would reply "no thanks" if it's anime, then go ahead and read XD) \[spoiler\]In season 1 - Shibata Hajime actually "killed" his wife. It started when Ayumi was cheating on Hajime and sleeping with other men :P. Since Hajime being a freelance writer and more interested in getting scoops, one time, an offical/mayor was it? invited Hajime on some 'fun' and the official mentioned they will meet a new girl. Hajime thinking it's a scoop also went - to find out the new girl is his wife. That kinda broke the family apart and Ayumi went to her parents. Time passed and Ayumi went to Hajime again to apologize and promised never to do it again and she wants the family to be back and such - but Hajime refused. On the way home after that commotion, Ayumi got into an accident and died... Tsugumi blamed her father for the loss of her mother and she called upon Hell Girl and tried to send her father to hell XD In season 2 - it's revealed that the one who killed Enma Ai, when she was still human during feudal times, before she was Hell Girl was the descendants of the Shibata family - no wonder Enma Ai was kinda glad that she will have her revenge on the family during season 1 :P but eventually, like what ep10 of the live action version focused on, Enma Ai is really tired being the Hell Girl - so in the anime, she killed herself - that's how season 2 ended XD (it was also revealed in season 2 how Hell Girl became what she is and it's cool what were the Hell Correspondence then (like in the live action ep8's Rengoku Shoujo episode - but the anime also tackled before there was even snail mail)) In season 3 - i should start watching that...
