I'm going to ramble about the video quality a bit. I grabbed six of the english torrents with seeds. Two of them are based on the DVD (Note: They are based on different DVD releases) while the rest are BR. The DVD video has brighter colors. https://nyaa.si/view/237396 and https://nyaa.si/view/886209 are the DVD versions. Of the two cestfait looks much better (but has only jp audio). The BR video is upscale of the 480p video, it has some noticeable upscaling artifacts and the colors are duller than in the DVD version. It doesn't really matter much which one you download as the upscaling blurriness will be dominating the video. The only noticeable difference I saw was that the Coalgirls video is slightly stretched vertically compared to others. The 720p DmonHiro or the DB 1080p torrent would be my choice. They are much smaller than the rest while being basically indistinguishable (they are about same size). In the end I would go as far to say that the BR video is not better than the DVD (maybe even worse). Someone should create a dual audio torrent based on the DVD video (and could throw other language subs in there too because they often can't keep seeders on their own).

@olio2 thanks for that - I've noticed a ton of DVD's that get BR releases are just really shitty upscales with horrible issues. With some, like the Aria series, I just prefer the original 480p, because the BR is so distracting.

After looking at it more the BR has strange stretching in at least ep 7. Strangest thing is that different scenes are stretched differently (the center of stretching is in different position).
