The plot opens in the year 2199, with planet Earth facing extinction within one year due to radioactive pollution caused by Gamilon planet bombs. A message arrives from Queen Starsha, of planet Iscandar, providing Earth with plans to build a superluminal engine and the promise that, if Earthlings can reach Iscandar, enduring what obstacles the Gamilons might put in their way, the Queen will give them a machine—the Cosmo DNA—that can neutralize the deadly radioactivity. But can the Star Force travel 148,000 light-years and back in just one Earth year? Not if the Gamilons can help it. They will do whatever it takes to take down Earth's only hope for survival! ======================================== Synopsis: -=-=-=-=--= 8 "The Reflex Gun, part II" Wildstar's group is dispatched to locate and destroy the Gamilon's reflex gun. The team deduces that the gun must be located under the sea since it does not appear on their radar, which leads to the suggestion that team look for cooling towers to locate the gun. To aid in this effort Avatar order Argo to repeatedly surface and submerge to lure the Gamilon commander into firing the relfex gun. Eventually, Avatar and his crew locate the general area of the gun, and launch missiles in the direction to help the ground team find the weapon. Avatar's ploy helps Wildstar's team locate the gun, and the team enters through the reflex gun's cooling tower to destroy the weapon. With IQ9's help the team manages to bypass the booby traps and plant explosives on the gun, which results in its destruction. With the reflex gun now out of the picture Avatar orders Argo to surface and prepare to strike at the Gamilon fleet, but the shaken Gamilon commander elects to retreat from the planet instead of staying to fight. Unsurprised at this development leader Desclock of the Gamilons orders Pluto's commander to engage Argo knowing that this will mean certain death for the commander and his force. Avatar's victor against the Pluto base provides some relief for the Earth by removing the planetary bombardment missions carried out from Pluto.
