If you want to make up words for the title Multiverse would work over Hyperspace. I mean neither are correct. But if you are going to translate it wrong, go with something that fits.
dude just change the file name yourself if you care that much
Dude just actually translate. Making shit up as you go is lame.
Dude just accept that you aren't their boss. This is embarrassing
Hey I know lets Translate Kamen Rider to: Halloween mask super hero I mean if you want to make crap up that has OFFICIAL naming, go all out.
@DrakkhenLive I'll break it down for you just this once There are four terms to consider: 1. 宇宙刑事ギャバン (*uchū keiji gyaban*) the OG show, what Retsu called himself 2. 超宇宙刑事ギャバンインフィニティ (*chō uchū keiji gyaban infiniti*) the current show 3. 宇宙刑事ギャバンインフィニティ (*uchū keiji gyaban infiniti*) what Reiji calls himself 4. 多元宇宙刑事ギャバン (*tagen uchū keiji gyaban*) what Carel called Reiji in episode 1 From the first 2 episodes we know that, in this show, our heroes are officially called just 宇宙刑事◯◯ / "Space Sheriff <name>" in most cases. Just like in the OG show. 超宇宙刑事 / "Super Space Sheriff" is just the title of the show. Then in episode 1, Carel called Reiji 多元宇宙刑事ギャバン. 多元 (*tagen*) can mean 'multiple, diverse, plurality'. In this case, it refers to how Reiji is a Space Sheriff who traverses multiple 宇宙 (*uchū*) AKA space or universe. 多元宇宙 refers to the concept of a multiverse or as the show puts it, "cosmolayers". We decided to go with "Hyperspace Sheriff" because it's a title that works as a translation for both 超宇宙刑事 and 多元宇宙刑事. The 超 (*chō*) in 超宇宙刑事 is officially translated as "Super". But it can also be translated as "Hyper" . While the word "Hyperspace" is a pretty well-known sci-fi term. In this case, we're using it to mean multiple dimensions/universes AKA 多元宇宙 I won't claim that our translations are always 1000% perfect or the best, and it's fine if you don't like them. But we're not making shit up man
@FlameTaJaDoru: Just ignored them, people just got too much free time to overly complain about everything. Thanks for your subs.
" The 超 (chō) in 超宇宙刑事 is officially translated as “Super”"
@DrakkhenLive you don't understand english let alone comprehend it
This is why I am glad toku subbing went to shit
if you think official translations are the be-all end-all why even watch fansubs
@FlameTaJaDoru: Or better, just learn Japanese if they wanted to understand 100% of the series and only watch it in raw if they wanted to be so perfectionist about free fansubs.
Flame: So you are not really a fansubber. Faiz: The point of a fansub is to translate 100%. I am not sure what your point is.
day ending in Y, DrakkhenLive using time that could be used to learn Japanese to bitch about fan translations done for free
