@Mysticus Agree, it is generally entertaining, though often becomes very boring, the second half of the first season was felt like a huge filler. Its a good fantasy anime, but definitely overhyped. For example, Helck was also a classic fantasy anime, with better story, better characters, much much better music, but there was no hype at all, so many people dont even heard about that. Meanwhile I still remember many stuff from Helck, while almost forgot everything about Frieren. I remember that it has good animation and there is a fight in the end, but basically nothing else.

Big titties, thicc thighs and huge asses = class and sophistication. So artful and deep that it's esoterically life changing. A true masterpiece. 11/10 Funny how that always works.

it's funny because I know exactly what makes the frieren anime look so appealing to many people (including the racism at the first half of s1), however all it does is just insult the intelligence of people who do not like the patronizing tone with the constant life lessons getting thrown at them. actual humans with a healthy growth mindset would not like how this anime keeps clinging to frieren's past and the constant showing of flashbacks related to frieren. she is living in the past while trying to live in the moment. to me that sounds like meaningless solitude while being surrounded by other people who are supportive of her. nonetheless, she does not even need to open up because everyone else is a child to frieren and fern refuses to show emotions because.... she's raised by frieren?

Considering manga did not move far from season 1 and constantly delayed, this Anime without end or plot resolution. It will leave us hanging mid air

@Miiisha no Frieren IS overrated, that doesn't mean that it's bad. Back in the manga-only days I always said that it drops off once it becomes shounen-arc and that seems to be the consensus among cultured individuals. I still like the characters and their charms. I know I'm known for being overly critical. Frieren at least is a series not really worth me attacking. It's fantasy slop but consumable fantasy slop so enjoy it. The worst part about Frieren are the liberal retards trying to defend demons (basically akin to illegals in their eyes, lmfao) and say they are potentially redeemable or have emotion despite Frieren herself saying "naw" and the author confirming they're soulless man-killing pieces of garbage. @indriq I like Helck, I remember Helck, the fact its relevancy is 0 compared to random waifu-bait seasonal romcoms and isekai garbage is an actual crime against humanity. Don't be too disheartened, most people are captive to stupidity and to banal desires that lead them into sin.
