Chapters: 23-41 Episodes: 9-17 ## Changelog ### Syrup Village 01 * Added German dub. * Added Russian subtitles. * 09:30 - Two microcuts were made here. * 12:00 - And two more here. * 13:50 - This scene was remade entirely to cut out some padding and filler. * 15:45 - Added back an establishing shot here. * 20:17 - Restored a canon Luffy panel. * 21:35 - Two microcuts and restored the length of Usopp letting go of Kuro's shirt, it was too long before. * 22:50 - Undid the microcut here. * 23:34 - Added a visual of Kaya to establish her in the scene first (before, she just appeared) ### Syrup Village 02 * Added German dub. * Added Russian subtitles. * 04:30 - Since we give no importance to the crab climbing up the cliff, I replaced the one shot of it with a shot of the water only. * 07:08 - Microcut * 08:45 - A small crop has been done to remove an error where Usopp disappears at the bottom of the screen. * 13:47 - We were able to cut down an additional minute of filler, of Kaya and Usopp talking about additional things. * 16:00 - Teeny tiny shorten. * 17:25 - Restored the shot of the village behind Usopp for breathing room and to better adapt the manga panel. * 18:47 - Restored a pause here. ### Syrup Village 03 * Added German dub. * 01:58 - Restored the pause here. * 02:12 - Made a microcut between Usopp's line and Luffy's. * 03:30 - Restored some slight breathing room before Kuro begins speaking with the glasses in his hand, and also shortened the scene a bit when he's looking out the window. * 05:21 - Decided to restore 2 filler lines for there to be something between Jango's two lines, his line delivery was completely different in both the English dub and JP. * 05:42 - Added Usopp's line over the shot of the barrel instead of showing that with no dialogue. * 10:44 - Microcut here. * 11:56 - Restored the brief shot here of Usopp yelling "ow!" (more canon now), but also to show him sitting up as he changes positions between shots in the original edit. * 22:07 - Removed a rogue frame. ### Syrup Village 04 * Added German dub. * 03:30 - Added some slight breathing room before the flashback. * 04:30 - Shortened this. * 04:57 - Restored the brief shot of Kaya for more breathing room (and Merry's tone of voice change was too sudden) * 09:55 - Small microcut here. * 13:14 - Restored Usopp here for two reasons: The ... in the manga, and more breathing room before Kuro begins talking again. * 20:03 - Microcut here. * 24:35 - Slightly shortened this portion after Kuro stands back up straight. ### Syrup Village 05 * Added German dub. * 12:03 - Restored the beginning of Kuro's laughter for the wind sfx to sound more natural.
