Orphan presents the first English-subtitled version of the 1990 boxing movie *Heavy*. Based on an untranslated manga by Murakami Motoka, *Heavy* tells the story of how Guy Hyuga, karate fighter and street brawler, moves into the world of championship boxing, aided by a terminally ill doctor, Alex Gordon, and an AIDS-infected cross-dressing trainer, Lucky Roman.

I wouldn't say this is the *first* English subtitled version. I watched a hard subbed version of this in shittier quality a year and a half ago. Proof: [this Youtube video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9pmUe6yONU) seems to be the same file but up-scaled to 720&16:9 from the original 636x480
@stev123 I mean you can find another English sub torrent of this on this very website, but calling it English might be generous given the translation quality.
Anyway, thanks for this. Guess I'm rewatching this to maybe finally understand the insane dog scene at the end.
