The group discovers that a Tsutarja has stolen the food and Satoshi attempts to capture it. He tries to weaken it with Pikachu, but the Tsutarja (which is female) uses Attract, making Pikachu unable to fight her. Satoshi sends out Mamepato to track the Tsutarja down, just as she comes across Team Rocket. Musashi tries to capture her, but fails. Mamepato finds the Tsutarja and signals Satoshi, who tries to use Mijumaru and then later Pokabu, but they are also hit by the Attract attack.
