When I have to edit CR’s atrocious scripts

Unfortunately, I ended up working more on the script than I was planning to. Likely a good thing for script quality, but not for release speed and my sanity haha. At the same time, I don’t consider this heavy editing, and I shouldn’t have to work on any more songs for the rest of the show (unless there’s an insert or something), so you can still expect releases before the following week’s episode for the remainder of the show. I also haven’t been doing proper TLC passes, just correcting mistranslations if I happen to catch any, but for batch I’ll probably put more effort into TLC.

For episode 1, I made the decision to completely remove all \an8 signs, but going forward I’ve decided to keep them if there’s no viable alternative instead of just leaving signs untranslated. Signs I deem unnecessary will still be removed though.

So basically, the full changes made in these releases are as follows: (lazily) TLC’ed, edited, retimed, and restyled dialogue with songs, a separate weeb track, and slightly modified typesetting borrowed from the Italian and German CR subs. Regular track uses Western name order without honorifics, with the exception of -senpai (yes, I’m keeping it this way) and weeb track uses Japanese name order with honorifics.

Until next week!

Well done on making a track with proper Honorifics, Japanese name order etc. I love getting behind any group/person that does an anime release and puts that kind of effort into their release to give a better, more proper Japanese-like feel to the subs instead of the lazy US localized stuff we get nowdays.

Keep up the great work, it’s really appreciated.
