Just like the international version, Dragon Ball Kai 099-159 Japanese version suffers of an unpleasant green tint.
We used the same ajustement as TFC to improve hues, curves and other things.
Bright halos around edges have been attenuated with Vapoursynth. Japanese version have stronger halos than international version due to a strong sharpening filter applied to the video. We attenuated them, but not too much to prevent any detail loss. This result in a more pleasant image than the raw Blu-ray.
Japanese version has several differences compared to the international version (TFC) :
As mentioned previously, episodes 099 to 106 have a different editing and are mixes of different episodes from TFC, so it’s not possible to have English audio for these.
Technically, you could mux english audio for episodes 107 to 156 a and 158-159, which corresponds to 114-167 of TFC. 157 is a mix of 164/165 from TFC, and would require editing.

thank you! can we also expect Kai 2009 in 4:3 and 16:9? some countries got kai in 16:9 on bluray like germany
Team-Mirolo (uploader)
@Metaridley : 16:9 no. 4:3 probably on nyaa, but in multi french, not english.

Much better thank you for the work.
Would be nicer to recreate it in 4:3, but the original Majin Boo arc isn’t that long and if people want they can skip episodes.

Episode 099: subs are too early compared to the dialogue.
Episode 157, Part B in particular: subs are not synced.
Team-Mirolo (uploader)
@fazadaglande : Yes we just muxed the subs of AnimeTime release, which they didn’t synced properly. But whatever, the main interest of this release is the video.
