thanks. this wasnt even on ptp. first half is pretty slow, but the scenes start to quite hit later (although you can tell what the theme is like 5 minutes in so the destination point is a bit tepid) actors did a decent job. the director did a documentary on kurosawas recent short movie? so maybe thats why theres all the long cuts and other things that make it a bit stylistically the same. im not complaining, it looks better than most jp films being released [though there were a few deficiencies visually that either were not or could not be fixed in post].
