This release of Dragon Ball Daima aims to marry the superior DSNP WEB-DL video, notable for its lack of banding, and the Amazon E-AC3 Japanese audio which peaks higher into the frequency range compared to other sources. Note that the Toei Animation intro music is different between sources, but everything after is synced 1:1.
**The official timing was especially dogshit this week. Shoutouts to nemu for overhauling that. Hulu audio is slightly better than Amazon but its availability is spotty, so we'll see how that pans out going forwards.**

**Subtitles Changes:**
- Funimation dub terminology replaced with accurate translations
- Various mistranslations and/or unclear dialogue fixed
- Numerous timing fixes
- OP and ED lyrics edited to better reflect their meaning
- OP credits translated and typeset
- Glind changed to Gurindian to reflect the "donguri" pun origin
- Daimao (大魔王) swapped from "Supreme Demon King" to "Great Demon King" for series consistency
- "Neva" changed to "Neba" to match the traditional rendering of ネバ (粘 - Sticky)
- "Kempeitai" (憲兵隊) changed from "Gendarmerie" to "Military Police" for clarity and convention
- "Panzy" changed to "Pansy" as there's not really any English-relevant reason to use a Z beyond SEO
- "Hybis" changes to "Hibis" to reflect the "hibiscus" origin
- "Nemophy" changed to "Nemophi" to reflect the "nemophila" origin
- Most reversed katakana signs translated and typeset

*If you run into any errors with the release, please note them down below.*
HULU's audio (from [ToonsHub's torrent](https://nyaa.si/view/1896992)) is 64kbps HE-AAC. I highly doubt it is better than any of the other options: CR (AAC 128kbps)/DNSP (AAC 128kbps)/AMZN (E-AC3 224kbps)/ADN. I would even go as far as saying it's *garbage*.
ADN should have the better audio at 265kbps AAC (with Apple encoder and TVBR127 setting), even better than Amazon's E-AC3 224kbps. ADN also has [**no** frequency cutoffs](https://slow.pics/c/LJgfiWRt) compared to AMZN.
Thanks for pointing this out! So you're half right, for sure. I tunnel-visioned the frequency peaks on Hulu and didn't notice the bitrate compromise there (truthfully, I figured it was a mediainfo error). That said, your comparison is for Dandadan, which doesn't reflect Daima - Amazon remains superior in that case https://slow.pics/c/oyglyoDs. Going forwards, we'll just stick with Amazon and for anyone who would like to mux that in, here's the synced track: https://we.tl/t-o3UZbwiz3M
Any and all missteps will be resolved in the batch 👍
