@Mr_Magus i'm assuming that has something to do with a growing number of BDs using low-passing (which harms fine detail) here are some comps: https://slow.pics/c/Rdi4aJi2 (US/JPBD vs ITBD - ITBD has superior detail retention whereas US/JPBDs are blurrier and less detailed) https://slow.pics/c/ZKgfHhi6 (DSNP vs BD - this one is a lot harder to notice but BD is slightly blurrier)

Basically, it's to reduce the number of discs needed. In a few years, BD rips will be useless because they will look the same, or worse (this already happened a few times) than the 1080p CR rips. Unless the BD version is uncensored, but that's incredibly rare these days anyway.

truly depressing times, we would have to rely on another region's BD for higher quality (like that demon slayer ITBD in the first comp i posted) if only there was a streaming service that prioritized high bitrate/quality video, sort of like Sony Pictures/Bravia Core but for anime

$190 for 1 BD. Well Japan was probably having some trouble selling 1 volume of 2 episodes for $30~50.

The truth is that it is not an anime that I look for a 4k quality so it is good that they do it to sell since surely it does not work for them to sell it on two discs, but in the future they will almost all be SD BLURAY HAHAH, only the big productions give themselves the luxury of selling it on several discs. 170 EUR FOR ONE DISC??? lolololol

Fuck-Discoshit has been doing that for years, cramming 12 or 13 1080P episodes onto one bd50 disc.

Date a Live as well as many of the other disc will be doing will be one to four disc so get mad about it all you want to. Only going to say this once. Will be doing a batch for Solo Leveling which will be four to eight disc if do the bonus ones also so don't be mad about that either. With that said if you want just tie disc and no bonus materials say it now so there is no complaining later. Just remember if you say you want the extras disc it will be eight disc so again no bitching about size later.

Am not taking full request again. but you can ask and might have it and might not, but if not then not going to buy it more than likely unless it was already on my list of shows to get.

I'm not mad. I'm very grateful for your releases. I am disappointed that companies seem to be putting less and less effort in making decent Blurays.

I sometimes get asked about doing the extras for stuff and when I do there are often users that turn around and go on about the size of the torrent when do so. I understand you can't make everyone happy all the time but just as said going to just put it out there and ask ahead of time as it will take longer to do it since there are 4 bonus disc for each set which will mean the overall file will be bigger. Have no problem doing either but then half the tread becomes nothing but a back and forth about the disc instead of other issues like if there was something actually wrong with the real quality of the disc like artificing or something. But the other reason some companies are starting to do is is to get a faster turn round time on those US disc what will have a dub like this one. That and they will know which US disc they want to fuck with for region locking like they have started doing with shows that have dubs.
