From noted anime director Yamada Naoki (*A Silent Voice*, *The Colors Within*) and Science Saru comes a new anime short, *Garden of Remembrance*. Released in Japan on August 30, 2024, it is an impressionistic piece about love lost and love remembered. The protagonist is a young girl who seems stuck in her daily routine:  When the gates of memory burst open, the film becomes a riot of color and design:  The film has no dialog, only music and a melancholic song. As with the other (very rare) real-time Orphan projects, Skr did the heavy lifting.
