Did you think we dropped this show? You thought wrong! This week we have more amazing typesetting work by TS-kun, an original translation by TL-kun and an autistically scene filtered and zoned HEVC encode from ENC-kun. We took a little more time this week due to the downright insane amount of onscreen text included in this episode. The bit of extra time allowed TS-kun to work his magic and produce some great signs. It also allowed ENC-kun to spend some more time filtering and encoding thanks to a higher quality source to work from. It also let us run everything through a few more quality checks and make minor modifications to how we package these releases. Which will remain the same going forward. ## Small side note: After a totally fair vote we held via e-mail it was decided that Anko is in fact best girl. So going forward ASCII art will feature best girl. ## Translation notes: There are several cultural and language related gags this episode. You can also download the TL notes here: https://files.catbox.moe/q3byi3.txt ## NOTE ABOUT SUBTITLE TRACKS It came to our attention that a lot of people have been watching the SRT subtitle tracks by default due to us marking them as "emn". While we do not agree with this unfortunately some groups have standardized on using this country code for "honorific" tracks. Since our "eng" track is our "honorifics" track (and always will be) this meant a lot of viewers were missing out on the amazing sign work being done by TS-kun and watching the SRT track intended for devices that can't render ASS subtitles. Which are only provided for devices that can't handle advanced signs and don't always include full translations of signs or background dialog due to the limitations of the SubRip format. Going forward for all releases the SRT subtitle track will be using the country code "srt". A country code for a language only spoken by 100 people in the entire world. In other words, it shouldn't conflict with anyone's default settings. We apologize for any inconvenience. Also going forward we will no longer be doing three releases every week. Instead, we will release an HEVC+AAC and HEVC+E-AC3 version on the same day. I have decided to drop releasing AVC due to the fact that not many people were downloading them. However, if someone contacts us through email and requests we continue doing AVC versions I will start to package them again. For most devices we suggest KODI with either a third party Plex or Jellyfin plug-in. For AppleTV we HIGHLY suggest Infuse. Which will play back our releases for free since we use AAC/Opus audio. All our release playback on PC as well of course. We HIGHLY suggest using mpv or recent fork of MPC-HC with proper libass renderer. Note that if your device can not render .ass subtitles we've included an SRT version of the script. It's the same translation without signs due to the limitations of the SubRip subtitle format. These will work for devices that can't natively render .ass like Roku. ## Deer tips: Due to the extra information for subtitles+misc stuff this week we've decided to skip DEER TIPS for this release. Look forward to their return next week.
