@theo1996 These aren't bloated. The episodes are 65-70 minutes each. Benefit of straight-to-streaming-platform releases. Stuff made for broadcast TV requires strict time-slotting, which sometimes results in genius work due to the limits placed on the director(s), but more often than not results in lazy gap-filled story-telling (and for TV-original stuff: rushed endings). The problem with this production is the subtitles. Speed-fansubbers in the early 2000s who translated by ear, edited, QC'd, encoded and uploaded every episode within 24-48 hours of broadcast in Japan did better and more accurate work, with fewer spelling and grammar errors. Netflix is scraping the bottom of the barrel for translation/subtitling contractors. Cyberpunk had awful subs as well.
